The Compressed Gas Association (CGA) is pleased to announce that Anil Lal will be joining our team as Director of Engineering & Regulatory Affairs, starting at the end of April.

Anil brings extensive industry experience and leadership in technical and regulatory affairs.

In this key role, he will oversee CGA’s technical programs, lead regulatory engagement efforts, and provide strategic direction to ensure alignment with our mission and industry priorities. He will also manage a high-performing team of technical managers and represent CGA in critical regulatory and standards discussions across North America and internationally.

The Director of Engineering & Regulatory Affairs plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of safety standards and regulatory advocacy for the compressed gas industry. With a strong background in engineering, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement, Anil will be instrumental in advancing CGA’s work to support industry safety and innovation.
